Lagging every 6 seconds in game?!
For about a week ive had an issue where exactly every 6 seconds, dota freezes and all audio stops, really frustrating and i can play with it but it is pretty inconvienient. I've reinstalled dota and my antivirus, and turned off every other possibility i could think of, and updated graphics drivers/disabled antivirus. Was using Avast, had no problems prior to this, switched to AVG.

Specs:
AMD FX-8350 Eight Core Processor 4.00 GHz
16 GB GSkill Ram
64-bit Windows 10 Home
AMD 2GB Radeon 6800 Graphics Card
Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD
MSI 970 Gaming ATX Motherboard
Thermaltake TR2 600W Bronze

Edit: It freezes for about a second, then 6 seconds and a freeze, so on and so forth....

I had similar problem with my dying hard drive.I had spikes like 100% disk usage in task menager, and read/write speed was like few bytes.
Nowdays similar things happens sometimes when my windows 10 is forcing instalation of some updates,or antivirus start scaning on it's own.
Open task menager (if you have windows ofc) while runing game,if you see 100% disk usage you can then investigate this further.

Ive done this, no spikes in either disk, CPU, memory, or WiFi (send and receive) when the spikes happen, unless they are very miniscule. Disk is at maybe 30% and memory at a stable 4, CPU fluctuates but its never maxed out

Are you finding that your FPS is not stable?

FPS is fine, usually hovers around 65~70, doesnt change when the spikes happen
