How much internet speed is required?

can I play dota with the speed of 9.40 Mbps downlaod and 9.45 upload on Sea server?
I played this game with no lag at all before. This lag just happened after an update.

Plz, reply how much internet speed is needed to play with no lag.

i think u need like 2mb even 1.5 . 10 should be fine . lag usually come from valve problems and not your interent .

the game use way way low internet than that, even 1mb connection (assuming u would get a perfect stable 1mb connection would need a quality isp for that) would run dota fine. if u run programs to see internet usage the game barely use more than 600kbs exception being when people start using microphone or u are downloading stuff like replays etc. so if u are having lag is kinda something else. maybe a program using u internet or u isp having problems, maybe even valve servers but if the game have acess to this speed should be fine.
