Who is more complex Rubick or Invoker?
My friends say Invoker but I think a good Rubick is harder to play

rubick is harder I think, hard positioning, and sometimes you're not stealing good spell

It depends because:

Rubick is the game changer especially if he steals a good spell such as BH or RP. He needs to get the ultimate immediately after the enemy uses another skill like shockwave or midnight pulse. He needs a really good position so that he is away from other annoying heroes such as void or a shadow blade slark.

Invoker is a mid-lane controller if he has other supports suck as LION-RUBICK tandem or a VS/SKY tandem.

Rubick is probably harder. To play Rubick effectively, you have to have a good understanding of how every spell works, and you have to be quick on stealing important spells. Positioning is really important as you don't really want to die on him because you lose stolen spells not like you'd want to die with other supports anyways. Rubick can be a gamechanger or a gamebreaker, depending on the player. Invoker just requires a lot of practice and muscle memory. Once you know his spells, they're pretty straightforward. A mediocre Invoker can have more impact than a mediocre Rubick.

The question is about enemy picks.
mid game invoker is ez af. 3 spell combo and enemy is quite one shotted. + invoker has ghost walk that has bonus movement speed. rubick is pretty damn hard cause hes low on HP and armor. He is easily killed. So you need better position on rubick. With invoker you just need fast fingers, good controls and remember which combinations make which spells. easy as that. but with rubick you need a much more. i would say rubick.

obviously rubick.. as invoker can attack hard, stun hard and defend himself hard.

an tornado, meteor, blast, invisibility, icewall and etc.. versus telekin, bolt, a ♥♥♥♥ field and the steal of any ult....(or any good other ability but meh..)

invoker have way more chance to survive, while rubick can get kill very easily and fast

if rubick didnt steal something good, then he is pretty useless in teamfight or solo fight
invoker is a blast at every level

its not a question about how many spell and buttons need to be used for play the hero, its a question about how THIS hero is going to go throu a fight solo or teamfight

add to that invoker can kill enemy everywhere on the map with sunstrike

imho

rubick = pretty hard
invoker = easy-medium

Rubick by far.First of all most Invoker players use an auto cast script for his invoke combos.
Second of all Invoker has a set skill list.
Rubick does not so a lot of the difficulty ocmes with acting with whatever random spell you ahev stolen at the time and workign it into your play.

Invoker also farms well and generally doesnt play support role.
Trying to farm on Rubick is a nightmare especially as most of the time he plays a support role not to mention he doesnt have a good skill set for farming creeps unless he steals a good spell for it.

Invoker is more complex but Rubick takes more brains to play.

I play both, but i'd also say they're both hard to master.

I think why invoker is complex because his skill need perfect timing to do good combo and because he is midlaner he must get his agh as fast as possible, and that its make invoker complex he must get fast money so he must get much last hit and kill from sunstrike and money from midas different from rubick that he can't kill so much in early and he is a support so he harass the enemy stacking pulling and he is not so complex until he got ulti and sometimes rubick is way complex than invoker, but its just my opinion
