Dota 2
How to Win w/ Noob Carry when you are SUPPORT???
hi, first time writing here. sorry for long post..I need your help. I play with certain set of a friends all the time and i'm always the support, mostly because my team is consist of 2 good players(mostly mid, tank, nuker, ganker or carry), and 2 limited hero players who wants to carry but still new in dota and me, the support.

my problem is one of the still new to dota2 friend of mine who has been practicing very hard and playing as much as possible but still no good...and may be also because im only girl in the team..... its just this noob carry friend of mine consistently blame me for any mistakes he makes when other teamates dont do same mistake as him nor blame me... i usually ignore his words but because our team MMR gap is too huge for the noob carry (2k difference within team, highest 3 k to lowest1k) im consistently in hot spot from one player and due to his pick of carry with limited choices we are not wining at all with him....

i think my support ability is good enough for 1-3k people, as i read many discussions about support roles on web. i also memorize my heros in body enough to be useful in clash even most of the late games clash.

about him, he is a good friend of my bros so, i cannot NOT play with him...as my personal observation he lacks in general idea of how support sacrifices, what are the other heros abilities, where are the places oponents might be, how to escape, map memorization, whats ks and when to do ks or not to do ks or to forgive ks, horrible lane control, manners of course, and playing as team...many things he has misunderstanding or noob mindset... if i tell him anything his pride will never buy em..
i really want to win because i like dota and controling game as support is fun, but i really need that noob carry to play well...... help would be very nice.. i want to hear many different positions and experience of people.

Gotta carry with that support.
Winning game at low skill is not about supporting, but about disables or "♥♥♥♥♥♥ fixers" (healing)

SirActionSlack made a funny, but also informative video about those skill brackets. It's more or less, "the longer your carry is hitting stuff, the more likely it is he will hit the things he should hit". So just go omni, and try to save your team. In addition, Omni COULD be played as a right-click carry if the enemy isn't too OP
oh, i never though about that... thx! i will practice that this month. i always thought one day i wanna play as team to other team so, i should grow my carry players but, if i can support and carry in balance, my team might have a chance!

Well, later on, in higher MMR brackets, playing support should be perfectly viable. Just not if most players can't last-hit properly, etc. Just try what works for you, it's still just a game. So have fun
Omni, oh, that hero is nice suggestion...my team need that kind...
i usually play warlock, ogre, Wdoc, necrophos, venge, es, tide, etc... but mastering in omni is what we need in team right now i agree. thank you ;)
