I've never mapped in my life, only with the Snap Map thing on Doom 2016. Pretty eager to give it a shot some time, but might wait on that info drop!
I had understood that it had built in optimizations and scripts/script helpers specifically designed for Ion Fury that would have made it a slightly unique and/or different version of Mapster32 (but just barely so). You have much more knowledge on this topic than I do though, so I'll certainly take your word for it. :)
