Cannot enable Console [Solved]
I add the -console command to the launch options, but nothing happens when I press the `/~ key in game. I have tried using Autohotkey to inject a ~ or ` command, but it does not work. I have tried pressing the button and typing incase the text window wasn't rendering, but it is not. I have also tried making a shortcut with the GOG edition and adding -console to the end of the target field ("E:\Games\Vampire the Masquerade - Redemption\Vampire.exe" -console) and this does not work (Actually I bought the Steam release today to see if it would work differently here).

I am on Win 10, with a ReDragon K580 keyboard, and a RTX 3070 video card at 1920x1080 32. The only solutions I have found are to uninstall all USB keyboards and use a PS/2 keyboard, but my PC doesn't even have a PS/2 input port. Has anyone run into this issue and figured it out?

Right click on the game in your Steam library and select Properties. On the default General tab, there is a LAUNCH OPTIONS field. This is where you would enter -console (or -console 1). If you are using the Unofficial Patch, you also need to include -game Unofficial_Patch to get it to work.

EDIT: You also need to use ~ to open the console.

If anyone else does run across this issue, open device manager, expand keyboards, and physically unplug your keyboard. If there are any other keyboards installed that you don't use, uninstall them from device manager.

SOLUTION! I found a second installed keyboard in my PC that is not present. I had to uninstall it. Console works now! Thanks for all the TS help.
Opened Device manager
Expanded Keyboards
Unplug keyboard from PC
Found Logitech Unifying device
Uninstall.

Open game, `~ key opens console.
