The problem isn't the GPU, it's the single threaded CPU utilization.

Let's be a bit realistic here my dude. Do you think Gearbox was like: "Hey! Let's totally ignore whatever Microsoft says we should price or do with their game? I bet they'll love that when the next gen consoles come out!"

No ♥♥♥♥ing way, that's not how you run a business.
Yes, let's be realistic. Gearbox and Compulsion set the price long before Microsoft came into the picture. They raised the price to $60US before they ever left EA. The ink was already dry on the contracts before Microsoft bought Compulsion. Microsoft buying the company doesn't make the contracts null and void. Don't be crass.

The publisher decides the price, not the developers. All of your problems stem from Microsoft.

It didn't "spend two years in early access". The Early Access version was basically a different game designed to test game mechanics for this one. Games have bugs. Games have performance issues. They're working on fixing the bugs. They're working on fixing the performance issues.

I don't understand why some people insist on conflating the Early Access game and the retail version. They're not the same. They were never meant to be.
Game was in development. They released an early access version. People complained about bugs. Some of those were never fixed. It's not conflating. They didn't release a chess simulator in EA then a RTS in the actual release. The EA game was the base of the final product. So when they spend 2 years with player feedback and testing and don't fix some basic issues, what is the conflated problem? Games release with bugs. Yes. But a glorified 2 year BETA test should iron many of them out. And most games don't release in this♥♥♥♥♥♥poor state. Bethesda would complain of what a buggy mess it is. So go white knight elsewhere.
It's always on sale for Dark Souls owners. Unless there is a discount deeper than 50% off, you won't see it. The discounts aren't multiplicative or additive, they are "greater discount prevails". So if you qualify for two discounts on a game (a coupon and a sale, for example) then only the larger discount is applied.

It's about the level of the content at this price. I own the game on GOG, the game is a buggy mess with characters clipping through the scenery, enemies being completely invisible at times, people just de-spawning on the spot. Had one lady I couldn't do anything to because she was standing in a bed (not on) and another who was sitting on the ground under a chair... Her legs were gone and her face was poking out the back of the chair.

Game is a horribly optimised bug-ridden mess after spending 2 years in Early Access. That's pretty inexcusable. And they want to double the original asking price and were excited about this release.

Key external sites are never 100% reliable and above all you can not request a refund if the game does not like it. (I also use♥♥♥♥♥♥♥etc ... but I prefer official dealers)
GOG is their own store. They don't sell Steam keys.

There's a Deus Ex joke here waiting to be made.
In the early patches of the game you could just use the bench save and get the flower, quit, then restart. But they patched it out pretty early on.

Guys go to GOG, the game is already available pre-order .... STEAM what do you do? Think about developing a new Half Life if you want the players to stay on your platform (more quality and less quantity, block many useless games and Fortnite is not the problem of the players' escape on other platforms) :steamfacepalm:
51,09 € in pre-order - 59,99 normal price on GOG

You could just buy the steam key for the game on 2game.com for like €33, with more reliability

You're just defending hackers and you are probably a hacker yourself. I bet you support Malcolm Reynolds. You're scum just like him.

Also it's obvious that your account is backup account because your others got softbanned.
Wow. That escalated quickly. "You're probably a hacker. -> You're scum like one of the most famous hackers in the game"
You get the Jolly Brolly. Not the season pass. That's separate. Still surprised no pre-order is up here.

The game was kickstarted as a Dark Souls inspired Metroidvania, how dare people be upset a game many people backed completely shifted direction in terms of gameplay and aesthetic.
I agree with the point he made, just not the tone. Too tryhard. That's all. I bought this game. I support the development. I'm also not entirely displeased with the shift in aesthetic.

Chasm finally came out and so glad it didn't change what it was during it's development.

But I don't think I can say the same for this. The entire mood of the game seems now different than it was -- from a dark brooding atmosphere into a cartoony style. It went from what appeared to be a REAL game and turned into a casual game...for casuals. You need to remember that casuals don't play Metroidvanias.

I really don't think I'll be buying this game anymore if it continues to grow into a game for casuals. Hope that makes sense.

You can always buy it DRM-Free on GOG[www.gog.com]. You will not get a Steam key for that, that is a DRM free copy of the game.
