What are the Micro transactions and are mods really removed?

I havent played this game in a while but i was stoked on finding a good push server now that it is installed on my new computer.

Are all the maps really gone and what are the microtransactions?

If they are just skins and such that do not really effect the game then fine, sure.
If the maps just need yo be updated and are out of date then that is inconvenient but not the end of the world and eventually it will be for the best.

If you pay for maps and weapons or an unbalanced dinobot that ruins multiplayer matches then that is actually really sad and embittering.

Many maps got carried over and new added. It's not only maps like before, there's also custom gamemodes and content packs for referencing in maps and gamemodes. More complicated maps are still in development or authors moved on a long time ago.
Microtx is weapons skins and charms to them.

If the microtransactions are just for skins and dont effect the game then they are optional. I've seen way worse tham that.
I might even buy a skin just to say thanks for the great game, Here have a tip for making a great game, since i am not being forced to buy anything.

As for the maps c'est la vie.
Theres a long running issue of updates breaking mods. Kerbal space was one and that game is totally worth it.

People are complaining like their being rennovicted or something

Wouldn't recommend it, game barely has 200 players at peak time on steam. It won't last much longer

Which doesn't have mods. Mods are pretty much the only thing keeping the game above 200 players ON STEAM. We can't see player stats for PS games, so we don't know how many people are currently playing it on there, but it won't be many since the base game gets bland quickly, unless you have the mental capacity of a CSGO/CS2 player to play the same thing over and over again. Even PavZ, the base game zombies mode is still waiting on an update. Honestly if they just worked with the CoDZ mod devs to improve on the base zombies, I'd play the game a lot more myself.

Base game is good enough actually. I played a lot of custom maps since 2021, Shack beta, and still find base game good enough, even if it still lacks better bots and matchmaking with competetive.
