What if you don't want to play with other people, is the game reasonably playable and fun with bots to make it worth the $5?

with bots? ehhhh, but you could totally play the official zombies mode and cod zombies alone. But I don't know why you'd not want to play with others tho, its a multiplayer game first and foremost.

depends how you look at it, I'd say yes but I have a decent amount of hours just f'ing around with bots & custom maps etc. and honestly, what is 5 dollars rlly, the game is already worth at the normal price imo

Honestly, I think it's worth $5 just for the offline play. I haven't even tried the online yet (I got it with this sale), and I already love it.

Well, primarily because I'm 36 and being around meme-ing dudebro kids makes me want to Roblox myself. So I'm usually looking for solo options these days.
