how to play pavlov vr with a oculus quest 2

i have my oculus quest 2 pluged up to my pc but i cant figure out how to use it

1. Install Oculus software on your PC
2. Connect your Quest2 via Link cable or via AirLink, after this you should see Oculus dashboard on your Quest2
3. Start SteamVR from your desktop and it should open the SteamVR view to your Quest2 (left controller menu button opens SteamVR menu but you may need to untick a box in Quest2 settings that disables the Oculus menu from left controller so it wont override steam menu)

install oculus app for windows, connect your quest 2 and register it to your app, put your quest on and open the quick menu and open "Oculus Link", then use the virtual monitor inside the Rift view to open pavlov from steam, and selec "open in Oculus VR"

I tried Oculus Link, and still prefer Virtual Desktop over it, there's a few millisecond delay that's really noticeable when reloading with Oculus Link (not to mention the interface is a lot of extra garbage to sort through just to play a game). That's my 2 cents.

My tip dont use the oculus mode for Quest. U can try both modes and realod a weapon fast as possible you will see that u cant reload fast with oculus mode. This Oculus mode is rather more for Rift and Rift S.

i'm just trying to figure out how I get the controls to switch over from vive or whatever its showing to quest 2, I can play it just fine with the classic virtual desktop > pc > game trick but it shows a set of controls the quest 2 doesn't use and I have no idea how to switch them

play via oculus link, is better
