Also in case anyone's come to this thread for the answer here is how exactly:
Arming:
Spin the pin around the stick like a wind up toy until you see a red arrow, once you see it, pull the pin in the direction it tells you. After which just position the bomb to match the ghost and it will automatically leave your hand.
Defusing:
Same thing as arming; red arrow will tell you so pull in a different direction.
Bonus Tips:
You can start winding up the bomb as you move to your target, when the red arrow appears, don't wait too long to pull and place it or else it will reset.
If you can time this correctly, you will be able to run into the objective, place it, and run back out should you need to clutch.
It also helps if you don't try to kill people who aren't looking your direction when at the objective since they would assume you are an ally even if just for a few seconds.
