steam workshop was perfect. I dont see how this got better.

It's just the distribution platform you're talking about. There was even a legacy version before where you were able to download and play maps from the original steam workshop but no one was interested anymore and it was barely played. And in the end it lost its compatibility including all the maps.

So the only mod/map distribution platform left is mod.io which is also featured ingame in the mod browser.

nah bro you are lying. from what i heard and saw most of the players i used to do stuff with still played legacy until it got removed.

Hell the reason this threads like this exists is because of players like myself that want and enjoyed legacy Pavlov.

The reason they are forcing people to use the playstation/pc branch of Pavlov so they can boast about how large their player-base is even though its merged from 2 platforms,

personally I don't care if mod.io has a strip club with jiggle physics. i don't want it.

Workshop was king.

Stop defending mod.io with your life, it was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decision on the part of the developers which resulted in the loss of countless maps, and an irrefutable and easily observable decline in the playerbase.

An easy anti cheat (eac) update caused the legacy branch to no longer function. It isn't an easy fix and would require going to a higher version of UE4, which would break workshop compatibility anyway.
