Pavlov VR

Pavlov has left Early Access today, but there's no release post and it's not listed in the patch notes?
Title

This is more of a general question than anything else. I can't recall a game entirely skipping it's 1.0 release date - that's usually something that a lot of games heavily celebrate. To see VG skip this important milestone hurts. VG should be shouting from the rooftops "Pavlov is done, guys! Get amongst it!" but instead we get literally zero communication regarding that.

What we see instead is an update focusing on MTX, a price drop which was sorely needed since like 2022 and no roadmap for future development (at least, not communicated to PCVR players via Steam's discussion boards).

As someone who got this game a while ago, I just hope that somehow VG gets back on the horse and actually does stuff with this game. Other titles are competing hard for the spot of "best VR shooter" and Pavlov is lagging behind due to a lack of support on the PC side.

As I said on Update 31's thread, I was really hoping that Pavlov PC updates would help shake off the dust and rust and be a positive point to get people coming back and try it, but I think the MTX misstep has hurt consumer perception of this title instead.

Anyway... on a more positive note, what do YOU, the community think VG could or should have done to entice people back without dropping senseless MTX into a paid game? Maybe if we lump some decent suggestions here, some of that common sense might bleed thru to the devs.

Yeah pretty crazy to have to see SteamDB for confirmation the devs just randomly changed it from early access. But it has been very clear for a while that the PC, and essentially PS5, versions of the game have been ignored for the money that is Pavlov Shack. The fact that they can't make a single new custom map for PC and just stole some Shack maps for a quick update shows they don't think much of PC anymore.

I seen this before normally means they set a deadline they MAKE YOU PICK A DAY when you pay 100 bucks to steam for release date and if you don't go and tweak it it will auto 1.0 on said day lol I had a game do that recently Age of Water had to do an announcment after it hit 1.0 to say basically my bad we picked that day years ago and never changed it so steam launched us to 1.0 and we didn't know till people told us...
The truth is: Changing it from EA to released they can abandon it now. It's done. Also it gives the game decent publicity due to being a "New" release. They try to cashgrab with MTX quickly and then abandon ship.

NOONE releases the 1.0 just casually inmidst a night with no announcement, if it wasn't for evil reasons.

I don't think anyone thinks about EA seriously when games can be in it forever with microtx too.
As much I love Pav I don't think it's worthy 1.0 party.
It's even funnier that if you raise this issue the moderators on the official discord just call steam users "A cesspool of foaming haters" and you'll be bullied off the discord by dismissing everything you say.

Yeah, being "immune" to criticism is not a healthy trait for gamedevs to have it just indicates they wished their paypig players were stupider and didn't notice when they made mistakes rather than keeping them honest.

that being said I don't know anything about their discord but I believe you because Ive been in similar discords for other games.
