I would like to know as well.

My brother got a vr2 ps, and wondering if I should buy pavlov. But I don't see any reference for the PC version besode the quest vr cross play.

I didn't have time to put VR in last 7 days at all so I didin't check. I think that PSVR2 version is up to date while the PC one has to align with "our" version in order for Cross play to work. I saw last week once two PC icons but I was told those are Devs and Testers prepping the cross play :)

Just make sure to keep posting here even if it's just one sentence to keep this thread up so that Devs can understand the importance of community wanting cross play to work. I literally bought Pavlov because I want to connect with 3 of my friends who play it on PCVR

when will crossplay on pcvr and steam come? i bought it on my ps5 just for cross play because i read cross play online but to later find out it was not availibel for pc and psvr2 to cross play.sucked big time after inviting my friends over to play and not be able to show it off.

It will be definetely available - you can find official reddit post from devs of this game confirming that it is coming. So far only I could encounter is couple of times PC icons showing up but as I stated above those are devs and testers preparing the crossplay to be officialy launched. Sadly in options you can already see this feature and it can misguide you to think that it works but it's still work in progress.

I hope by keeping this post on top of the discussion will give devs some indication on how badly we all want that :)

From Junt, the Pavlov Community Manager, this morning, in the Pavlov Discord (9:45AM EST):

"There's a lot of pieces that need to fall into place before we can ship PC update. We have also had to refactor how we originally planned crossplay because it would have been more confusing than this new system we're going to implement.

I know it's been a long time and it really sucks, but we're honestly trying to do the right thing because we love PC despite a lot of hesitation from the community going to Mod.IO. PC VR isn't exactly in a healthy state and a crossplay with PS5 is an effort to help sustain a population without sacrificing the game fidelity itself with mobile crossplay."

Thanks PUGS for this update! This gives at least some sort of overview on when can we expect this update to come out - not as soon as I hoped :(

if it takes another half year or so to get the crossplay update out there wont be a lot of ps5 players to crossplay with. i dont think the PSVR community will stay on one game with a handfull of maps for that long..

Latest news as far as I can see can be retrieved by going to Discord channel - their devs are actively answering to all the questions. It seems that there were some challenges in setting up Crossplay but the team is working on it so hopefully this month we can expect the official launch :)
Meanwhile, if you are looking for some fun with friends who own other VR headsets -> try After the Fall. Crossplay works perfectly and there is player base there so you can always find someone to play with, pretty good game to spend time while Pavlov gets set

It's probably just as well, 'cos now that GPT4 is out, someone (like you ) can hopefully get our new Artificial Overlord to program a proper Metaverse, for "True Crossplay" where we can play Pavlov vs Half-Life 2 VR, and maybe even a bit of vehicular action with Pavlov Turismo, where a squad of 4 (or an Army of Two) can jump into shiny new cars and try to get to the finish line as The Last V8. On that note, we should take a vote and try to postpone WW3 for another 5 years at least, to see how far VR and GPT can go.
ps. Moons of Darsalon... and soundtrack ! ! is out in 8 days (April 19th 2023, or so)

So far no major news, if anyone wants to follow up on daily basis on this topic I suggest going to official Discord server because devs usually respond there really fast.
Whenever I asked got pretty much same answer all the time - it's still undergoing test phases etc. I was hoping this will be done by end of March - now I hope until end of May as April seems unlikely to happen.

Anyhow - if you want to kill some time while they establish this cross-play -> I suggest to everyone playing After the Fall because crossplay works they perfectly with any headset :)
