The fake profile guy is...umm...yea. Let me try to explain....
Onward and Contractors crossplay with Oculus Quest 2. If you go in those games and pull the server lists up, you'll see that the total in-game player count (you have to manually count) is much higher than what you see on Steam Charts and VRLFG. Pavlov's count is true to the actual player count you see on Steam Charts/VRLFG because the population is currently ONLY made up of Steam players. That's the here and now - for today.
Vankrupt literally just finally announced a Pavlov VR PSV2 release (yippee!!) about 20 minutes ago, which means that Pavlov PC players are about to get their first taste of crossplay - and soon their numbers (like Contractors, Onward, Population: One, Rec Room, After the Fall, Walkabout Mini Golf, etc. etc. etc.) will be also be inaccurate, in a really good way.
**** the steam counts for VR games. They're almost irrelevant at this point unless you're only interested in what PCVR gamers are playing (something that Pavlov moderators will miraculously soon stop caring about). Right now, PCVR players who chose to play Contractors, Onward, (and soon Pavlov) are going to have access to a much larger player base than what is displayed on Steam Charts/VRLFG. And that is fan-*******-tastic for every PCVR gamer who likes shooters. All three of the three major VR shooters are thriving. Here's to hoping that Vail can catch up and give gamers another decent option.
It's money that matters
Yeah It's true, honestly their voices themselves aren't what annoys me about them. We all had those voices at some point. It's just that some go out of their way to be annoying af lol
such a loss..... anyway
Yet he made the best points out of anyone here.
LOOOL out of curiosity i did that just jumped into contractors,if you count the users in the servers and even with all the cheap ass quest squeakers it has less players than pavlov PC only lol, they did well going with PSVR2 crossplay.
