You're best just forgetting how the game was and start getting used to how it is now- sure somethings are better, some feel worse- but generally getting everyone on the same update will help the developer iron out any issues people are experiencing.
My microphone does not work since the update, I try almost everything and it does not work, I see errors in the game, conclusion, I get bored and stop playing it, and I read that several of the old players are not satisfied, unfortunately if they do not correct the problems people quit playing , and know what happens when there are not enough online? the game ceases to exist,
greetings
While in almost every instance I'm inclined towards giving users the option to run any version they want I do think that's going to be a very dangerous choice for what's currently a big fish in a very VERY small pond. If Pavlov had tens of thousands of concurrent players then yea I could see giving players the option. I think that there are currently too few users and players wishing to remain in an old build are not only going to be frustrated with the lack of players but subsequently frustrated with the complete lack of support they'd get moving forward.
While I think in a ideal world you'd get to play whichever version you like the reality of the situation is such that keeping everyone on the same version will be best for the game, the community, and the developer.
Seriously attachments aren't a far cry from what the game was already. And even then in CSGO there are weapons with attachments that you can toggle, as well as the aspect of switching out entire guns. Not to mention pavlov doesn't have side specific guns yet either.
If you want counter strike, then play it IMO, but pavlov could never be a true cs clone without removing sights from all of the guns and having much wider spray patterns and total inaccuracy while moving. Could you imagine side step aiming in VR?
