WW2 japanese guns?
I think they should add japanese weapons into the game. if all the british weapons could make it without a semiautomatic rifle, surely the japanese could as well? I think it would be great for pacific theatre maps, plus it'd be a good opportunity to bring in a british soldier skin along with it since their weapon loadout choice is rather similar with top loading machineguns and side loading submachineguns. The push game modes are fun but a bit more variety in ww2 factions would be nice.

Several guns the Japanese used are in the game already it turns out :p
The type 100 machine gun is used by the russian army in several maps I've played.
OR IS IT?
The type 96 light machine gun is used by the british..or is it..etc. I'm not a history buff but I think they only designed a few unique weapons. Not very unique.

I think since map makers have to set up the weapon kits and rules of Push they can probably just download the existing weapons assets and barely modify them to make the japanese variants, the type 99 and type 96 machine guns respectively look like the existing british and russian machine guns

This is a picture of a japanese rifle tho.

Idk man maybe I didn't elucidate in my post clearly that all of Japan's guns are derivative of other guns, its historical fact that Japan got into the game late then ran out of steam after their supply lines dependent on other countries were cut by the US...leading to pearl harbor...and the US entering...et cetera. I mean it was a big event lmao.

The type 96 and type 99 are completely different internally to the ZB vz. 26, and the bren is an actual ZB vz.26 made on license. what makes the type 100 special is that it can take a bayonet. literally all of the japanese weapons are unique except for the bolt of the type 99 rifle which had a mauser style bolt, nearly every other weapon they use is unique and of native origin.
