Easy anti cheat is not installed

Whenever I try to launch pavlov I get the message that easy anti cheat isnt installed, but when I go into my programs it is there. I tried doing a clean reinstall of Pavlov but that hasn't worked either. The anti cheat support says to run one of the files as admin and then select to install easy, the issue is that when I do this it just asks to verify its allowed to make changes and then nothing.

Per the page:
Install, Uninstall, Or Repair Easy Anti-Cheat
The Easy Anti-Cheat service is typically installed automatically with each game, and uninstalled automatically when the last game using Easy Anti-Cheat is removed from your system.

You can also install the service manually. To do so navigate to the "EasyAntiCheat" folder inside of the game's installation folder and locate "EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe". Launch it as administrator and choose 'Install'.

If your Easy Anti-Cheat installation becomes corrupted somehow, you can repair it by following the same steps and choosing 'Repair' at the end.

Easy Anti-Cheat service is uninstalled together with the game. You can also manually remove the service from the system by following the above steps and choosing 'Uninstall' at the end.

This is the file I was talking about not working, all the support on the website goes to it but when I try it just seems broken as no extra window appears after running it as admin.

I've heard issues of multiple versions of an anti cheat tool being present causing issues. However, i have not heard of it with EAC, more so older ones for games that stopped updating. Is it possible you have two versions of EAC on your computer and pavlov may be trying to start both or just the wrong one?

I would check multiple drives if you have them, and have ever moved pavlov. Generally clean installing fixes this, but if you forgot to check the other drives, its worth looking into.

I'm having the same problem and it doesn't even look like easy anti-cheat supports Pavlov VR
