Just practice really, no magic to learning, find a wall shoot it, step back few feet, shoot again, repeat going further back - practice handling recoil.
Positioning and getting the jump on people, using good headset for footsteps, usual stuff but main thing is time, just keep playing and learn from the last death.
Is it like counter strike, when you move your recoil goes to ♥♥♥♥?
Don't bother with scopes yet
But how do I learn? take a course or something?
Play H3VR
This will not actually make you aim better. My aim is fantastic in H3, but trash in Pavlov.
The reason is simple really, because H3VR actually makes a good job in simulating recoil.
Pavlov just takes control of the gun while shooting so countering the recoil is not really doable. At least this is on Rift S.
If you are having trouble managing recoil when firing:
- For heavy sidearms, don't spam the trigger. Fire and wait until the gun lowers back into position. Otherwise your hands in-game will be bent backwards.
- For automatic weapons, try burst or tap firing. The best way to manage recoil.
- For some automatic weapons, slightly bringing your arms down while 'hip-firing' can actually steady the recoil. The best example would be the LMG. Try it out if you feel like being Rambo. Follow the bullets to improve your aim when hip-firing.
That's all I got.
Your first shot will always hit where you're aiming. The recoil in pavlov is very randomized. He can still get good by putting his rifle in single shot mode.
Yes your first shot will. However the game does it's best to make full auto useless.
This, paired with people having metal plates under their skin makes it... frustrating to say the least.
I think it's very obvious that i am not a huge fan of this game. Especially after recent developments...
I was basically here for the zombies.
huh, that would explain at the firing range, when firing the revolver, I keep thinking why is my shots going either too high or too low?
The revolver should still be accurate as long as you aren't shooting too fast.
full auto works just fine, you need to fire in controlled bursts, laying on the trigger only works at really close range, and you still have to control the recoil.
