I have over a 100 hours in that game. How much "getting used to" do I need until my shots stop firing below my iron sights where I can't even see? Or are you just talking about living with how broken it is?
Maybe you aren't sure what I mean. I could upload a video of the issue if you'd like me to.
The P90 with iron sights is never going to be easy to start with but the trick I found when using the iron sights is not to use them at all. if all you have are iron sights then for me the weapon is best used as a first burst (watch my tracer) and second burst will be dead on the mark with only a very slight adjustment.
With holo sights all you need to do is practice shooting for neck and head area and it wont take long before people are calling you a cheater. What other smg's lacks over the P90 is accuracy.
Sorry for the rudeness, but I'm bald and have a monobrow
I fired the P90 with the mentioned sights at 25 and 50 meters, and the shots really zero'd in on the target.
When shooting point blank, I also noticed that other SMGs shoot slightly below where I am aiming. However the P90 still shoots way, way below where I am shooting at when at point blank range.
This is of course just my opinion, but I think that there is a point where realism has to give way to fun. 25 or even 50 meters gives you barely any pixels to work with anymore, even on a valve index headset. Additionally, nearly all maps in this game are about close quarter combat. Lastly, all other weapons behave in a similar way when aiming, making you raise an eyebrow when one of them is so far off course.
All of this makes precise aiming using sights with this gun borderline unusable for the majority of maps. That's about the point where I'd start wondering why this weapon was included in the first place and how it benefits Pavlov's overall gameplay or could be improved.
