Having the ability to pull the pin out while using one hand is great.
Beyond that even if it were feasible to allow it just for those modes (DM/TDM) I think that lack of consistency between modes would frustrate players more than not being able to one hand grenades.
Meanwhile you can just think ahead and pull the pin before you approach the doorway. Then you can still hold the ready grenade in one hand and the weapon in the other.
The trade off is this would arm the grenade immediately so it's not too OP as you can't just hold it.
