So just saying "go play Onward" is counterintuitive. Tactical realism with Pavlov mechanics and polish is the best way. Onward is a buggy mess with a long way before it's even close to polished. Even if Pavlov has rough edges, it's the most polished VR shooter out there. I much rather play Pavlov in tactical realism than Onward.
And why does it matter if Pavlov gets a tactical realism mode? We have DM, TDM, Gun game, WWII mode etc. on maps that can range from realistic to freakin minecraft. Why the f would a tactical realism mode be bad for this game?
Just add it and let the community decide if they like it or not. Even if advanced features doesn't get realized, at least do a normal game mode in high damage mode. That would at least be a half assed attempt at giving the players who want tactical realism something.
Being able to chose between arcade and realistic is way to go.
