Hands stuck in menu

So my Rift S was having problems for 4 months but now i can actually play on it, but when i start up pavlov one of my hands are stuck when i load into the main menu and i cant do anything, does anyone know an answer to this problem?

Do both of the controllers work outside of Pavlov?
Check the controllers in the Oculus program.
Maybe try removing the batteries, and unpair the controllers from Oculus, and then reconnect them.
This is obvious... but double check your batteries and make sure the contacts are clean.

They do work outside of pavlov and in any other game i try, this is the only steam game i have though for my oculus, i tried removing the batteries but it still was frozen for me, i've tried reconnecting them but the problem is still there, also when im launching the game it says UE4Game and when loading up it shows me a weird photo like an error picture (its a picture with a white mountain inside a white box)

Does it still not work for you? When I start the game there's no hands. I can see the line that would come from one of my hands, but it's on the floor and not doing anything

mine is doing the same. when game loads, my controllers do not function in game. restarted, reconnected controllers. it glitches out when the menu pops up.
