Problems with video memory and how to clear some up

I have been having a problem where when in a server (maybe its a Minecraft zombies, or even TTT), i get an error that says something about "Out of video memory". i don't know how i can clear some up, but i'm assuming it means the storage on my PC (i have 2.89 GB of space on my main drive as of right now when typing this and 13.56 GB on my second drive which has all my steam stuff). This error all the time will close the game, and sometimes crashes steam along with steamVR.

system storage is not used for video memory, it would be WAY too slow. Video memory (Or VRAM as it's better known) is mounted on your graphics card, or else is shared from system ram if you have integrated graphics. Make sure you're not running two games at once and that you have a mid-range graphics card at the least.

i lost the sticker that tells what graphics card i have but i do know that the sticker said something about "Oculus ready" but because i cant get that, i use windows mixed reality controllers and visor from Dell.

i should have enough video memory on my VRAM and also i never have more than one vr game running at a time

The only way you are going to get help on this issue is if you post full specs of your pc.. You can download CPUZ and GPUZ for full specs.. Out of Video memory is something I have experienced back in the day because I didn't have enough ram and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ video card.
