is their a way to adjust to my height
ok... i love vr games, their isnt much reason why, but i just do i guess.... but their is just one issue that can be really annoying im a super short 5.2 to 5.4 inches and the game kinda gets wonky if you say sometimes..... most people in my game are ususally alot and i mean alot taller that doesnt bother me really that much, but what does is the problem with running.... ok if you dont understand lemme explain, so if you are crouched or prone you can run, but at a slower pace so me being the short guy my game alwayse thinks im half crouched and i can run as fast as my teammates and it can get to be really annoying. Please fix this, or maybe make a height scale

Yes. The short answer is to fake your height during setup, with the side effect that you'll be higher off the ground and unable to reach the floor. I've had a number of games where players bodyshamed me for faking my height from a chair to play a seated game and forgetting to fix it afterwards, making me a 12 foot tall soldier with the world's largest head hitbox.

While I haven't attempted this myself, there are also tools to change your SteamVR settings directly. This only applies for SteamVR, not the Oculus API.

Oculus or Vive? I recommend changing the SteamVR settings either way because it's easier to change quickly, and for Oculus users, it won't affect your non-Steam games. It's also less frustrating to set up.

The SteamVR Room Setup tool can be found by running SteamVR, going under the SteamVR tab, and clicking Open Room Setup.
mate accept the friend request w can taslk through there

Since Pavlov uses SteamVR/Oculus height, I fixed it by setting my height on Oculus (a couple cm lower, just to be sure) and then launching it through Steam but in Oculus VR mode.

As a VR enthusiast, I've explored ways to adjust height on the Quest 2 for a better experience, especially when playing seated. Here's a summary of what I found:
-Adjust Height Setting: Easily accessible in Quest 2 settings, this feature lets you virtually raise your height, improving interaction with VR games while seated.
-Disabling Guardian & Tracking: Involves toggling off the Guardian and tracking settings. This readjusts the headset's perception of your height.
-Lowering the Floor Level: By placing a controller at a lower level than your play area during setup, the floor level is tricked, making you appear taller in the game.
-Controller Swing Method: Swinging the controllers towards the floor during setup can mislead the headset into thinking the floor is lower, thus increasing your in-game height.
-Choosing Suitable Games: Some games have better mechanics for playing while seated or allow height adjustments in settings.
Hopefully this helped. Some of the answers are a bit more nuanced. Check out the full article on my experience here: https://smartglasseshub.com/oculus-quest-2-height-adjustment/

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
