Depending on where you are located and how lucky you are shopping you will be able to play Pavlov spending between 1000 and 1400 Euro. Plus 10 bucks for Pavlov. 😀
But you probably won't be able to play newer VR games.
more if you also need a gaming audio headset.
i would probably shoot for a little higher to get a better long term use. if i were building a mid level PC, needing everything from the ground up, i'd be looking at around $1200 all in.
and then for VR on top of that you need $150-$600 depending on what you want.
if budget is your most important concern, then a $150-$400 WMR set is the way to go, there are a bunch to choose from, and some factory recertified ones for great prices.
personally i would, and did, go for the vive, as well as the deluxe audio strap, which comes in just under $600.
the rift is a cheaper option, it's gonna be $400, or $460 for the room scale bundle that comes with 3 sensors, which is recommended for a more reliable 360 degree roomscale experience.
you may also want to think about potential future upgrades when choosing your VR set, because we're between generations now, and the 2nd gen stuff is just on the horizon, so it's worth while to think about how that might effect your currenmt plans, or how it fits in your timeline if you're saving up.
whle thats certainly true, i would never suggest someone buy something that is already falling out of date, because then one or two years later, they're already struggling to play new games.
even if you're on a tight budget, if you spend just $500, but soon find yourself struggling and needing an upgrade, then you didnt save as much money as you first thought.
however, i would personally spend more on the CPU, ram and motherboard, because it's much easier to upgrade your GPU a couple years down the line, and CPU's dont fall behind nearly as quickly. so if you buy a decent CPU, you might find it is still adequate 5,6 or even more years later.
my last CPU worked fine for me for 7 years and 3 GPUs
.
So, if i readed correctly, i should save about 1000-1400€ + headset?
Then we will se us a few months later ingame! :)

now that black friday is, i though i can allready get 1-2 pieces for my next gaming pc
i though that i can get cpu and mainboard first, so i can already use them with my old gpu..
so here is my question, what for a cpu should i get?
should i buy a 4 core or 6core cpu?
something like Intel Core i7-7740X ( 4x 4,5ghz )
or Intel® Core™ i7-7800X ( 6x 3,5ghz )
they are both under 400€
