Edit: Well I guess technically something like the Vive Pro or the Pimax headsets would be the best due to highest resolutions & FOV, but they are much more expensive & require very strong PC hardware. So without budget or anything, those would be the best I suppose.
Really, Vive or Rift, it's down to preference. I definitely prefer Oculus, though the Vive is much more competitive with Knuckles and (if you have a ridiculous amount of money to burn) the Pro than it was previously.
I would definitely say you should go with one of those two, either Oculus CV1 with the Touch or Vive & Knuckles.
My extra recommendation on the Oculus side of things is to buy a third sensor as soon as you can. Front facing mode is okay in this game, but overall a nuisance. A third sensor completely elminates this for $60 and includes a USB 2.0 extender.
Oculus is supported, but can (and will) be supported better with the next update
WMR is supported in the fact that it plays off SteamVR and will hopefully have more support in the future
