You can still use the Oculus mirror if you have a Rift, or the SteamVR mirror if you have any other headset. However, this impacts performance.
- Oculus mirror[developer.oculus.com] location: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusMirror.exe
- SteamVR mirror[espti62423.i.lithium.com]
EDIT: if you do use the mirror, make sure to give focus to the original game window so that it uses all of the available resources.
It's the built in steam VR mirrored view. Lots of games tend to render themselves on screen while played but not all of them do. You can use this to view either eye or even both if you wish.
idk if im correct about this but you do realise that this is about pavlov right eye rendering and not steamvr right
to anyone still reading this, yes its still broken and youre gonna still have to use steamvr's desktop mirror or oculus' mirror. (unfortunately)
If you come from google and are using Oculus:
- go in C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics
- open oculus Mirror, it will show exactly what is on the headset's right eye (or left eye, it has a few options)
You can also use VoiceMeter Banana to output your audio to anywhere.
