Pavlov not downloading custom maps

Hello, as said in the title the game just doesn't download any map, the whole bar stays empty for minutes and until yesterday it never happened, is there some way to fix this?

I see this isn't a new issue.

Booted up Pavlov after a long while. Never had issues before and map downloads were usually very quick, anything more on this?

Mine was caused by SteamVR constantly trying to update after launching.
Best I could find was this is caused by removed SteamVR workshop items being removed and the program not knowing what to do.
Navigate to your downloads tab in SteamVR and select "SteamVR" and pause it, yes this needs to be done every time you launch Pavlov and want to download a map in the client, and yes, it is annoying and Valve needs to fix it.

Will keep this in mind for future cases.

I found an alternate thread that suggested clearing your download cache (Steam > Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache).

That requires you restart Steam to take effect, so it could have just been restarting Steam fixing it, but I didn't have any issues afterwards.

@ZombieHugger Whenever I clear my download cache and i exit Pavlov for the first time after clearing it, and I start Pavlov again it has the same problem.

Not working for me either, i just bought the game tonight and i'm playing with my friend, works fine for him. I have tried in game and manually un-subbing and re-subbing custom content on workshop, nothing is working even tried steam and pc restart too, might refund =(

when i clear the download cache it works but once i try downloading another map, it does it again. im going to try reinstalling pavlov to see if it works like that

Same bro, i managed to download office and play a round but it stopped working when i tried to play or download another workshop map.

Are you using Rift S also?

Delete all your downloaded workshop content located in: steamapps/workshop/content/555160

Delete everything in: \steamapps\workshop\downloads

Clear steam download cache: Steam > Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache

Restart steam and download a single map. Test.

Steam introduced a bug that would fail workshop downloads, It was patched on May 15th but those who still have broken downloads were still affected.

Update 29 completely retires the steam workshop, in order to use the steam workshop properly you need to go to the legacy version of the game by swapping to the legacy branch.
Custom maps and stuff are now done in game with the mod browser

But every time I try to download a custom map from the mod browser it goes to 99% and then it cancels and doesn't download anything and i have space on my computer so it's not that.
