I mean if you have a chair that's high enough I imagine you'd be alright.

The only way to play this game effectively sitting down would be to essentially lie about your height in the Oculus/Vive settings. You can reconfigure the settings to pretend that you are roughly 5'6" to 6'4" from the floor and set up tracking from the height of you in your chair. This is something I did to play Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin while seated and set up for an only-standing VR experience.

Keep in mind, you won't be able to reach down to the floor AT ALL. Don't drop anything; make sure to ALWAYS holster your weapons properly, and understand that enemy items will be inaccessible to you.

To crouch, you will need to simply duck your head down.

If you're looking for a quality VR FPS at the time, Hot Dogs, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades has a special accessibility feature where you can point a laser at an object and pull grip to pick up objects from a short distance; this feature would come in handy given your current situation.

Unfortunately Pavlov lacks this feature to my knowledge. I would recommend requesting a feature for picking up nearby objects on the official Pavlov Discord, where Davevillz is frequently in touch.

Great answer. I do have a stool chair I can use. I've used it for other games.

I noticed that if I'm sitting when I start the game, it thinks I'm short

I know this is old, but this will help. It allows you to move your playspace up so its as if you're standing.

VERY late, but thank you so much for suggesting this! Was going to buy a new router just so I could move around, but this saved me!
