Authentication Timeout

Whether I create or join a server I am almost immediately kicked out with the "Authentication Timeout" error, even though I don't use any third party software whatsoever. Anyone else having this problem?

This has been happening to me too for about the last hour. I'm on Oculus Rift, launching in Oculus mode through Steam.

same problem here, im on HTC VIVE. takes a few seconds for the server to kick me but it always happens. only just started today.

only thing i can find on google is VAC time out related, "authentication time out" might just be another way of saying that VAC is confused about something

Same here, HTC Vive Pro, Windows 7. Steam had a client update pending. Updated the client, still no dice. Worked fine this weekend, problem was first observed today.

yeah, i restarted and updated everything, and my pc... so its a game glitch of some sort

Same experience. I managed to stay in game one match and now I can't stay in any. I'm giving up for the day.

Same, tried restarting, authenticating game files. Errors out in a few seconds after loading the level.

I believe it might be a server issue because so far this has all been in the last hour

Btw same issue Rift S through steam VR and Oculus

EDIT: Windows has an update so ill try that and update you guys on my results.
EDIT2: No luck
