2: If you have the gpu you can use supersampling in the steamVR settings to make finer details more crisp.
3: It is more difficult to aim in VR than it is in normal "flat" games. Sometimes you just have to "feel" where to aim and not think.
Hope that helps :)
But i think i need a better CPU first, i have problems with higher super sampling another problem is that my Vive slips a bit off when i try to close one eye, then i can only see blurry ♥♥♥♥ ^^...
Well you need to set proper pupil distance and you need to wear the headset correctly. In the other words both your eyes should be in middle of the lense where you can see the sharpest image.
Do you meet recommended performance for VR? Did you run VR performance tests like 3Dmark or SteamVR test?
Headset shouldn't slip ever. Also you don't need to close your eye. In the real world shooters shoot with both eyes open, learn that too. You should invest one hour or so just adjusting the Vive strap. Try all combinations and adjust it to fit. For example it took me two hours playing with the strap to figure it out, but now my Vive is very comfortable and stable.
You should put your headset on your face and then pull the strap over your head, it should require some strenght to do this. Wrong way to do this is putting strap on and then putting the headset on the face, that's not the way to do it. Headset first, then check that each eye is in middle of the lense and then when you're satisfied with headset position secure it with the strap that should be firm enough to hold the headset in position.
It's just it is to weak for VR i think.
My Specs:
Win10
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
RAM 8.0 GB
The performance Test from steam shows me that im in the green(high) bar, but it tells me that my CPU is perhaps too weak when i open the software.
I have some jittering issues too, first i thought it was a tracking problem but i hope it's just my bad PC.
--------
Well yes ...when im closing one eye to aim my Vive get pushed a bit upward, i can't see throught the middle of the lens until i pull it down again.... ( cause musular tense like that http://cdna.allaboutvision.com/i/slides-warning-signs-kids/closing-one-eye-462x428.jpg)
Does someone have experience with the Audio strap, maby it helps?
(♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sorry if my english was a little bad)
I hope so! I will buy a "Intel Core i7 6800K 6x 3.40GHz So.2011-3 WOF" and hope that will fix the problem.
Thank you for your help :)
