Idea: option to spawn with a buddy in team death match (if one buddy dies, both buddies spawn to a random location together... guy still alive has 10 seconds before spawning for a quick kill)
I love VR co-op games (Arizona, Raw Data)... because you can interact with friends. I jumped into a game with my brother today, and didn't really get to interact with him at all, until we played the search and destroy version. I'd rather we always spawn near each other in team death match too. For me, this would be the first thing I would add to this game if I were the developer.

Interesting idea, something similar to Battlefront's buddy system would be nice, choose a buddy, then be able to spawn near them.

I don't think this woul work consiering the size of the level, with battlefront the maps are huge...

Also I just wouldnt want this to be the sort of game where people start popping out of thin air next to their buddies mid gunfight.

it could work if it's only possible when not in a gunfight I guess.

I'd be more happty with not spawning near enemies to better avoid spawn killing. May not work to well on such a small map though.

will have that in siege mode (wave based spawning) TDM just need some occlusion checks so you always spawn hidden :D

I was thinking about this more today, about how it could work.. I suggest:

IF YOU CHOOSE THE BUDDY SPAWN OPTION.... IF YOU DIE... THEN YOU AND YOUR BUDDY BOTH SPAWN AT A RANDOM LOCATION, EXACTLY AS THE GAME WORKS NOW... possibly after a short delay, i.e. 10 seconds... which gives the non-killed guy 10 seconds to kill whoever just killed his buddy... but then he respawns as if he died.

I could see an issue with spawning next to where your alive buddy is... but this above option would be perfect.
