2. Just wanna say seeing this post warmed my heart after the absolute garbage fire that was this Discussion board last night when players were FUMING about not being able to play the game a little bit more on their three-day weekend. It is refreshing to see actual discussion of the game again and not, y'know, whinging about something we can't do anything about.
Personally I'm avoiding any bot campaigns with escort missions until both those issues are fixed.
Liberator Penetrator is decent against low/mid tier Automatons, but it is later in war bonds and has a low magazine size. You really need to aim well with it, but you have a good scope too. Its damage falls off fast at higher difficulties.
Anti-material rifle stratagem is good for low difficulties, but it seems to be a bit off in aiming, at least for me.
As other have said the basic Machine Gun is awesome for lower level automatons, but when Devastators show up? Break out the anti-armor.
Yeah it takes a stratagem slot.
Yeah it's niche and situational otherwise.
Against the bots though it is very good, especially early but it still does a good job later against hulks and devastators.
Target weapons or heads.
For Hulks, just aim for the little red "eye" in their chest plate.
A few shots will drop a hulk.
ALWAYS hilarious to see that happen, yeah. :)
