Why is Steam still selling HD2?
What will it take for them to stop selling Helldivers 2? It is well established that the game can not handle the number of people trying to log in so why are they still allowed to sell MORE copies?

Idk I know a guy who has to keep servers open he said if this was going on he would be fired after just 1 day let alone an entire week. but they say theyre working on it ill give them until next weekend to fix this. After that idk man excuses only go so far.

It's not a server issue though. So your guy wouldn't be responsible.

99% uptime is not the issue here. Educate yourself just a litle on support SLA's.

The servers are not down, just overloaded. Different problem with different fixes.

why are people still crying? NO GAME EVER has the ability to support every owner of the game to play at the same time server capacity.

They need to pause sales until they fix the game
IndianaJones Feb 19, 2024 @ 1:13pm
Because this is good business. 30% share per sold copy $$$, $$$$, more $$$$$

the game will have 20k players next month

They're happy enough to rake in the money, selling 3 or 4+ million copies? all the while knowing they can only service a fraction of that, if they can't run the service, they shouldn't be selling it.
Fractured Feb 19, 2024 @ 1:17pm
Honestly, at this point, kinda in agreement. Normally I wouldn't, but the problems have only been getting worse. And it isn't just server capacity, that is only one issue out of MANY.

So many of the issues involve the game itself. Between crashing, and the plethora of bugs (EVERYONE encounters the bugs, just because you ignore them doesn't mean they don't exist). The game is in rough shape.

It's a lot of fun, but it 100% shouldn't have been released.
Kalenath Feb 19, 2024 @ 1:17pm
Because the game is fun and they are working to expand the server capacity.

Do I need to put it in another language for you to comprehend or use smaller words?

Good, no queue.

Like, I know you think you're trying to make fanboys mad.
But you're telling me I'll be able to get in, without waiting, and all the fun features like Helldiver tracking and planet progression can be turned back on.

Hell yes!!

Just as an FYI, the devs don't get any money for sales on Steam until the end of the month. That's when Steam pays out. So, while Steam might show them as having hundreds of thousands of sales, they don't have access to that money at the moment.
jautja Feb 19, 2024 @ 1:20pm
Because 90% of players don’t know that you can report the game. Hey guys, there is a FLAG on the game page.

L Take.
People paid money for a service (in this case, a game) and are not able to utilize that service. Totally understandable they'd be upset and "cry" about it.

It would be more understandable if it was maybe one day, but many of these people are complaining after not being able to play after multiple days.
