Can't change name anymore on Steam?

So I know the game uses your Steam ID name if on PC. I used to be able to change it and when I started the game it would use my new changed name. But now even when changing my Steam name it is keeping my older name, it wont change like it used to so I'm stuck with the current one. Any way to change it because changing it on steam right now don't work, maybe you can only change it so many times before you can't, I dunno.

Same here. Ive reinstalled and tried to unlink my psn and everything. Still doesnt work. Hoping theres a fix for this asap. The social part of the game is unplayable otherwise.

Same thing happening to me. Game still thinks my name is Turkey despite everything. I've seen some other people have the same problem, but no solution yet.

Same problem Helldivers 2 shows part of my email address that shows part of my real name

Hell divers 2 uses PSN likely you need to change your name there , the entire MP and likely Profile relys on the Playstation account.

You don't need a PSN account. It's entirely optional for Steam users.

Ok so I linked my account to my PSN witch is fine but it changed my name to my PSN account. Problem is if I go to my PSN it's the same as my steam. It's using like the start of my email or a nickname or something. How do I fix that. I just want it to display my account name and it's not like I changed it.
