Anyone else despise Hunters as much as I do?

Getting overwhelmed and slowed by leaping, multi-attacking bugs is more than enough to make my blood boil. Extremely aggravating to die to these solely because "here have 10 of them up your *** just because".

Yeah that didn't help. Shield backpack got hit 3 times, and then I was shoved, and then I was dead. It's not infallible.

I've had a little less trouble with them since i started smacking them in the face when they got too close, same with headless warrior bugs.

Doesn't help that much though.

I mostly play 7-8 and I've noticed that backpacks are pretty critical against hunter swarms if you get separated from the group. As those have stated, shield backpack is a solid defence, the jetpack create additional distance, and the two dogs (laser is better) will target the closet enemy, often times killing that leaping hunter as you are laying down fire somewhere else. my builds often revolve around 2 calldowns, a backpack, and a secondary weapon. If you are already commited to a recoiless backpack, ammo, or autocannon then you should be really sticking with the squad and fullfilling your AT role while people cover you and you support with your primary.

They are more managable when you get shield backpack, as you can tank a few hit before getting slowed. same for the small spitting ticks.
