same for me aha
tbh I like this ambiance of getting invaded and overwhelmed. It's so chaotic and I love it
and w/ 3 or 4 players this mission w/ the first difficulty is really easy ... but yeah solo it's the opposite 😂
Well we do, and we like it. It only suffers for you, and that does not matter at all. I got a good laugh, and learned while playing like a good player.
Skill issue.
I get the feeling you are just used to and/or looking for a game where dying is much more of a meaningful thing than it is here. It really doesn't matter if you spend your first missions as a noob falling flat on your face as you learn the mechanics.
Think about this. And I mean really think about it.
Have you considered the game wants you to die repeatedly to learn?
Have you considered that giving you the answers wouldn't teach you anything?
I wised up on death one. I already knew the answer. I just had to apply it with the turrets. But when people don't yet know the answer then they're going to be in a situation where they have to figure it out. And again, the clues are there.
People want to act. And often don't realize they're impatient idiots making mistakes. But what if doing nothing after diving is the best thing to do? To let the bullets fly and let whatever happens happen. But you're not "told" this. It's not "brainwashed" into you. And be honest, would you want that?
You panicked and tried to move didn't you? Your hands clearly went to the keyboard. Likely without thinking. From pure habit alone. And you paid the price for it. Then you blame the game for not telling you. Except it has.
"Dive to survive." That's. It. Nothing else. And it's not going to say "Stay still after diving", because if it did then you wouldn't assume and learn from mistakes.
I did what I'm good at. What I'm best at.
I did nothing.
There's a catch though. Think about what that means. People tend to fear doing nothing. Like it's the worst thing to ever do. But in this situation it keeps you alive.
Let's also consider that training has the player crawl before the turrets. Even before the turrets it's teaching players to stay down and keep their heads down. Down boy. Stay. Wait, you stood back up. Bad dog!
Training step 1: Stay down (barbed wire).
Training step 2: The writting on the wall. "Dive and survive". Which can be easily missed when players aren't told verbally.
So two lessons are being taught here. To observe. And do nothing. Other then diving anyway.
Also the game straight up tells you that the training has a 21% survival rate.
