This is confirmed in multiple situations and tests over the last few weeks.
I sometimes play with Randoms, but I mostly play with my family, the 4 of us together, or fill in the last slot with someone from my friends list.
Last night, my friend got kicked by me twice on the ship, once I was Alt-Tabbed and looking at monitors on amazon when it happened, and once when we were on the ship waiting for our 4th to restart his PC as he was having problems.
I've been kicked from my sons game while he was downstairs in the kitchen (Totally started giving him ♥♥♥♥ about it too) We've all been "Kicked by the host" when the wifi went out during a thunder/snow storm last week.
I've been kicked while in the drop pods down, and I don't think you can even access the menu while on that screen.
I'll say it again, people stop getting upset about getting kicked, because I think you're getting hit with an unknown server problem and it's just popping that message out, maybe since it doesn't know how else to identify it as.
I think that being kicked in the end of a session is good!
At least is better than have an CTD after you collect all the things in the map 5 games straight.
If you are going off on your own then you might expect something like this to happen. Was tempted to do this to a player that did 0 contribution to the team and was running around area of the map that had no objectives.
I have only kicked someone once. It was just me and this guy, everything was going fine and we were working together, then for god knows what reason he just ran off to extraction on the other side of the map, while there was a tank, a tower, a drop ship and 2 patrols engaging. I guess he thought Id die and he could respawn me, but I didnt die
That fight was super hard because he ditched, so once I finished killing everything I said 'you shouldnt have left me to die' in chat and then kicked him
This is an attempt of making you feel better for being kicked for no reason. Humans are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but some of us at least have enough class to not kick others during missions.
Trolls throwing bombs on the extraction while others arent even in but close by.
But the main reason are usually awful players at the wrong difficulty and teamkilling alot or using mortars, most of the time its all reasons together.
However glad the kick function exists.
Some even run open microphones and use TV speakers at the same time, usually that indicates its a hardcore noob at gaming, so doesnt even get to play lol
Just kick them immediately and move on with your life. Unless of course you can't handle your feelings while playing a video game.
