Why dont they add new enemies anymore
its been awhile since we got any new enemies i heard there was supposed to be a terminid flying variant called the dragon

because the game is currently considered buggy and poorly balanced. And the communty is revolting against the player character being ridiculously weak compared to the circumstances. And the pressure is on fixing the ♥♥♥♥ that already exists instead of adding new stuff.

lol previous patch makes RR/eat 1 shot chargers.
New patch, effectively reverts it.

those have always been in the game they have just only been on medium difficulty in a specific mission where you hunt two of them down and kill them and at the end of high difficulty missions

They are probably gearing up to release the Illuminite faction. Plus they also spent the past month working on this MASSIVE PATCH that just dropped. Next Month maybe they will finally appear?

Although, I feel like the automatons could use a "sub faction", like how the Terminids have the Bile Verients. Im still holding out hope for the Cyborgs to get worked into the Automaton faction somehow.

To be fair, now they're actually a bit different due to having higher health stats than just looking cool

AT weapons are pretty useless now on helldive (RR reload nerf/"accidental change",along with needing two to kill a behemoth charger, also inconsistent leg armor removal), besides spear being able to oneshot BT heads. Too many behemoth chargers spawn in bug breeches and on patrols. Same sample size from playing solo helldive twice, had 4-6 behemoths each breech, and normally 1-3 behemoth patrolling onto the objectives or already at objectives. Have switched back to using the flamethrower as it has faster TTK than the AT.

To the question asked by OP, game is too buggy to be releasing new enemies they can't even change weapon damage values without introducing new bugs. I have also found the behemoth charger has a lot of problems with terrain probably because it is now showing up in areas they never tested it in. I've seen them spin around in the air after dying, and then landing like 50m away, along with other weird clipping I hadn't seen with normal chargers.

yep, game is too stale to enjoy now, used to be excited for illuminate (still kinda am but losing interest fast) you can only fight bugs and robots so many times, and that's ignoring the weapons are pretty boring too, infinite possibility's for futuristic weapons and they still with basic AR's and shotguns

What are some futuristic weapons you'd like to see?

They may want to fix what's already in the game before including new things that may also need to be fixed.

I don't mind the player character being weak but right now primaries are so ♥♥♥♥ that you basically use a support weapon 99.9% of the game and spam stratagems while just running from everything

Devs do say they want you to rely on "Stratagems" and "Support Weapons"

I don't see anything in patchnotes saying they buffed chargers or nerfed headshot rockets?

What's the point in adding so many primary and secondary guns if players just ignore them lol. It get's boring just using AC for 99% of the game.
