Remove teammate activation from Hell-bomb backpack.

From the games, I've been encountering some low-level players trying to be funny or just dumb, deciding to waste my bomb for laughs or curiosity .
The function doesn't help the person wearing the bomb; this, to be honest, is more of a troll feature.
The backpack is extremely fun, and you can set up some amazing kill combos. The only thing that ruins the fun is people just being dumb.



After reading some of these so-called responses , the ability to be set off by teammates should be removed indefinitely. It promotes trolling, and in a way, griefers will target you for using it. No other weapon in the game produces such a negative response from teammates as this so-called feature.
If you are against the idea of removing the function, then you are probably a troll looking to ruin someone else's time. If you believe this is a rant, then you are a small-minded individual who lacks the understanding of the bigger picture and should not be allowed to participate in future discussions on the matter due to your lack of common sense.

The first time I saw a guy with the Hellpack he would charge at enemies and nuke himself, pass it off to teamates and blow them up plus other goofy stuff. Everyone involved thought it was hillarious and played along.
Have you tried letting everyone know you're using the Hellpack seriously and not as a meme? People will generally be understanding if you communicate.

It serves no purpose except for trolling and laughs. Which, one could argue makes it worth keeping. Personally I'd rather it be gone.

Never seen one in game, but I can't fathom a reason to have the button. People don't pick up the items dropped when someone dies so why would you use their items when they're still alive?

I don't see a valid reason why it should be removed. There are so many ways to troll players already that add little to the gameplay and it does not trigger people.

That frustration is probably due to the backpack being a stratagem, so it may feel like being robbed of an epic moment or being harmed in your gameplay?

You can kill someone back or report/kick them if that upsets you. But I doubt that it happens often or even at all on higher difficulties.

why just not kick them and block them and then you don't have to deal with them ever again?

You just described a regular hellbomb there, and by that logic, what is even the point of bringing a backpack? If I have to even point this out and make a case for why a backpack strategem is worth bringing in, then how could I feel confident in arguing with such an obtuse opinion?

By bringing in the backpack, you can negate the long cool-down , which is even longer when you don't have the ship upgrades. By doing this, you can hit targets in quick succession, giving you more time to search for super credits or samples. Activating the bomb when it is not needed wastes a stratagem for the sake of nothing. If you can't grasp this simple concept, then may God have mercy on your soul.
Let me add that by having it equipped, you have the option of using it right away, and you won't be hampered by ion storms or anti-strategem bases. This astonishes me; I must even emphasize this.
