FRV Recon Vehicle Improvements
There are a number of improvements the FRV could use. But I only want two changes.

1. Less engine weight causing forward/pitch axis rolling while jumping hills; when there is enough speed to overcome mass. More so since there is a heavy machine gun, ammo, and helldiver in the back distributing the weight.

2. About 10-15% reduction of vehicle roll on inclined surfaces. I find it part of the fun the vehicle easily rolls over. However many times it rolls over after going a moderate speed hitting a slight bump on one side flipping the vehicle; or turning after cresting a hill with speed is a stupid easy way to flip the FRV. -fixed!

Sure it needs some other improvement. But these are my two biggest critiques that revolve around realism that the devs want. Its a fun vehicle I enjoy it and its qwerks. I only want it to be a little more fun than tedious.

What do you guys think the FRV needs?

Update
New game build: I now want the old camera returned or the option to turn off the new "cinematic" camera in the FRV. The camera moves so much that I'm fighting it and this feels more like a suble nerf than improvement.

Handbrake behavior.

Ahhh yes a stronger handbrake is a very valid point! The FRV tends to slide down every slight incline as well. Even with the brakes applied.
Modifiable weapons loadout. Would love to be able to swap the HMG for a grenade launcher with 20-25 round magazine or a recoilless.

All great suggestions. Having the ability to kick or flip over the FRV would be very helpful!
All good and valid, I'll also reiterate that the vehicule is still unusuable on AZERTY keyboards at this time.
Personally, I find it to be in a pretty good spot as a QWERTY keyboard user. Pretty much just reliant on skill. Though I do agree with the first post, absolutely needs a handbrake. The modifiable weapon loadout one is also pretty rad

It should also be usable on all keyboard setups

For those asking for a handbrake. One does exist. You must hold "space" when exiting the vehicle until dismounted. It will still slide down slopes with the rear wheels locked though.

Using WSAD, I prefer to use D gear for almost everything. Just be sure you set to change into reverse gear automatically in your own game settings! Otherwise I rarely use 1 gear unless Im struggling on a slope then need to build speed first. Another tip, when the vehicle starts to get all swervy tap space to slightly slow down and it will correct itself.

The D gear is just ''automatic''. It uses the same logic first and second gear do but the swaps are far slower. You can get much more use out of the recon vehicle if you manually swap gears.

I sent practically an essay to the devs of all the things wrong with the FRV, hopefully they fix even a quarter of them.

I really hope it gets some deserved touch ups.

Ya, but I prefer the engine to sound good as well.
Full semiautomatic gearbox would be pretty slick. Being able to manually go to 3rd and 4th would be nice.
