crawl bug

have you had the bug too? sometimes my character just crawls and i can't get up anymore, the bug has been around for a while, but apparently it's too unimportant to fix it

i've experienced it, mainly in recent games. it eventually fixes itself, i dont recall how, either i do something to get out of it by maybe diving or some form of ragdoll

They got rid of it, then brought it back. Great coders guys...Amazing work.

The one where you end up prone but can still move around at full speed? Yes, I've had it happen quite a lot. It's easy to fix, by just crouching or diving, but it's pretty bad that it's been around so long and hasn't been fixed.

I can always un-bug that with pressing the crouch button then sprinting. That doesn't work for you? Did you turn your framerate all the way down or something?

Maybe it's me, but I feel like when it happens my character moves way faster than normal. It's an awesome bug.

I do have it sometime.
I can always cancel it out by doing another dive or get ragdolled tho.

The one or two coders that actually built the game have almost certainly moved on.
It's what usually happens.
The people coming in later almost always aren't as good, and the code is a mystery to them.

the crawling bug is with me about every 2 to 3 games, you only get out of the posture by chance, i don't understand how they haven't fixed it long ago

Yeah sure... A character controller script is a mystery to a hired developer. Sure... Shall we come up with something real and not an excuse?

To be fair, it can also be very entertaining. We call it snake mode.
