you ever go to try a weapon and then realize "hey this gun? it sucks."
Yeah we just don't want to do that, and we remember the nerf bat being used pretty liberally so if anything has just been nerfed into the literal ground I'd rather just find out by asking than doing a mission with a gun that sucks.
Quick version, with the new MO going on Fori prime:
Explosive Crossbow (from the Democratic Detonation warbond)/ Cookout (Freedom’s Flame)
And the HMG/Grenade Launcher+ Backpack as support. With thermite Grenades (demo detonation again).
The other stratagems I endorse are 500kg, 120HE and a gatling sentinel.
EDIT:
On the botfront, counterdiligence/ultimatum/AMR are probably my personal trifecta (add thermite grenades).
On the illufront... swap the counterdiligence above for lib pen and frag incendiary grenade.
also what you might find fun to use, someone else might say it sucks. i like the tenderizer because i can aim.
You sure about that because even back in the day there were a few weapons that just sucked hard. The incendiary breaker comes to mind when it first came out I remember it being awful.
Also is Joel still force failing stuff and resetting progress like he used to? I logged in and got a slew of +0 medals for failed stuff. Not really an encouraging "welcome back"
2 napalm stratagems, sentry and spear or recoiless rifle
We? Sorry pal, speak for yourself, I'm sure most people would rather give a try to a weapon by themselves before giving their own opinion. Also "a gun that sucks" is subjective, I often get the most kills out of games with Airburst Launcher and zero friendly kills, how about that?
You don't get +0 medals from major orders that failed. You get them once you hit your medal cap. If a major order fails, you simply don't get anything. No message at all.
And major orders don't fail just because Joel decides they should. They fail because not enough people focused on them. Like this last big one with the Meridia singularity. Most people blame it on Joel railroading the narrative, but they're missing the bigger picture. It really failed because Arrowhead forced us to grind missions against an unfinished enemy faction. And not enough people enjoyed doing that to actually complete the objectives in time.
That's not railroading, that's democracy.
Plus, failing a major order isn't a bad thing. It just means that the story is taking a different path. If anything, it feels way more artificial when we only ever win. Because then Arrowhead has to constantly come up with more and more ridiculous excuses as to why we can't just completely obliterate all the enemy factions, and win the whole war tomorrow. So having some occasional setbacks actually feels more plausible.
Also, my advice: Never chase the meta in any game. Don't just follow what everyone else says is best, or you'll miss out on the real fun. Experiment for yourself, form your own opinions, and find your own fun. Don't just borrow someone else's fun. That's lazy, and only hurts your own enjoyment of the game.
Like how the Adjudicator is currently my favorite anti-automaton weapon, even though everyone says it sucks. I never would have discovered that if I had just followed the meta.
If you could read you'd notice that I was talking about my buddies and I, which is we.
So yeah, how about that?
Jesus dude I remember you being a prick about this game a year ago and my first post here you're still around giving advice no one asked for? Well I guess the community hasn't changed has it?
