Unflinching
Is the armor effect 'Unflinching' worth it? What exactly does it do? What counts as flinching? Is there a cooldown on that effect or is it constant?

you get aimpunched when you get hit, it reduces the severity of it , it's constant
not worth at all
Yeah, it's not a great perk, honestly. It stops your aim from getting messed up when you get hit. Almost completely removes that effect.

It's low to mid at best, BUT the LCF on the armours that have it is huge.
All it does is nullify the flinching effect of your crosshair when you take damage. It won't prevent strong damage from interrupting your actions and knocking you around.

Your character will still visibly flinch, too, even though you'll still shoot perfectly straight. It looks especially jarring when using a laser weapon: it will visibly shoot crooked in order to match your aim.
Basically, if you’ve ever been aiming something like a recoilless at a factory strider to hit its eye or some other shot that requires precision and you get hit right as you go to fire and your shot goes flying off target because of the flinch from being hit, this passive removes that.

Not particularly great, but it’s one of those passives you’ll notice you don’t have after playing with it for awhile.
up to you. i have friends that only run the med armor and i have friends that change the armor to just be fashion. personally im waiting for modifications to come out or something more with that system before caring. use to swear by the extra throwables armor. then it was the faster reload for primary and support. then it was servo assist cuz you run vitality and now your arm gets shot for extra less damage. its all whatever.

TLDR the medium/heavy armor thats explosion resistance, white and red colored. thats the best armor against bots. took so many missiles, ragdolled into a mine, flew into another one, pancake flipped , took impact damage yet and still lived.

You flinch when you get hit. Means that you are taking damage. Means that you want to take cover instead of standing still and unflinching. This would have a use as secondary perk for the armor on medical armor (extra stim + unflinching) with adrenaline booster, but as main perk its completly worthless and it proves my point that the armors should be just a cosmetics and we should be able to unlocks armor perks instead.

It's OK if you use charge / laser weapons. Otherwise it's pretty pointless. It honestly needs some kind of buff, like extra damage resistance or something because it only works when you get hit.

Its mostly useful on bot missions. If you don't do bot missions, you likely won't see any value in it.

It's one of those that I always don't see is useful, until I use it and then stop using it.

Hi there.

Unflinching reduces recoil flinch by 95%, minimizing disruptions when firing. Additionally, it reduces camera shake for better aiming stability and delays the Helldiver’s manic laughter during prolonged firing by 1 second, allowing for more sustained control in intense combat situations.

It´s not bad, it does for what it provides to do. In compare to other armor traits.

PS. Try it out vs Cyborgs & use sniper rifles or any wep where u need to aim for a longer period of time, lay down for better aim & lower recoil & less taking hit. Then you will see that this trait works for what it does.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it does nothing to reduce recoil, only flinch from damage of various kinds. If it reduces recoil when firing, then that would be a game changer.

Hi there!

If you read correctly, I never claimed that this armor trait reduces recoil? I said, to lay down to reduce recoil. All Armor reduces some kind of recoil, when you stand still or kneel or lay down by default.

You can look it up, it´s in the game TheJackel overall.

Your exact words from your quote:

Unflinching reduces RECOIL flinch by 95%, minimizing disruptions when firing. (emphasis added)

Maybe just a mistype?

Hi again!

https://divers.gg/armor-passives/unflinching

That is from HD2 page. read that quote carefully. Reduces "Recoil Flinch" <---- They mean, if you get hit, your gun wont jump all over the place, then when you get hit with out the Flinch, in normal way your gun jumping all over the place.

I think it would have been best on heavy armor. The point of light armor is not getting hit at all. Heavy you can at least tank a few hits.
Or if the effect also reduced your chance to ragdoll, like a 1 in 4 'democracy protects' kinda chance not to get ragdolled.
