Real Talk About Super Credit Rewards and Difficulty.
It's still more reliable to get REC, Super credits, and Medals playing level 1 trivial missions solo, and not even finishing them (sometimes over 300+ SC per hr with good luck btw), than it is to acquire them from any difficulty higher than trivial.

Sure samples exist above this difficulty but, there's literally a hard cap to what you can spend samples on, same can be said for REC/Warbonds to a degree.

I'm not saying to remove this farming method entirely but can we at least have a more reasonable method of earning SC reliably through like, just playing the game?

If I want to earn 1k SC for a warbond through full clearing every level 9/10 map it would take hundreds of hours more than grinding it by farming trivial maps with stamina booster+jetpack+GL and light armor for maybe an half an evening. Because level 1 difficulty and level 10 difficulty have the exact same drop rate for the 100 super credit packs.

Like, can we at least get a 1% increase in the 100 SC pack drop rate per difficulty level or something? Then it's at least mildly more common at higher difficulty but not to the point where it feels like you need to play Super Helldive at all times if you want anything from the super store without swiping a credit card.

Otherwise it feels like if you don't want to swipe your card you need to play at Weenie Hut Junior all night until you get all the chicken nuggies you need for your Warbond or armor set.

I'm not even asking for more SC to be available, I just want there to be a better method for acquiring it than playing the most boring game difficulty where there's maybe like 30 enemies on the smallest map size.

Another one of those "I want more free money" threads?
I play on diff 8 and I just tell my squad to look around for POIs after we complete the objectives and I've been generating SC at a fairly decent rate and should have over 1000 by the time the next warbond is available

I play around 8/9 but I don't really play often enough to make that many without needing to grind level 1 missions for the last 5/600, and take breaks so I'm a few warbonds behind. I'd rather spend my money on stuff that holds my attention better than running simulator.
Yeah, i have to agree, if it's easier to get supercredits on LVL 4 difficulty, i have to choose if i wanna grind or have fun on higher levels
problem with this is we dont know how the economic balance the game is in
if AH mess up a bit with SC drop it will be for sure less money for them, so how much they would accept to lose ? this is the real question here, and i think its probably near to zero, for obvious reason

We should get 100 credits just for logging in. Maybe 100 credits for a successful mission. Could also get 20 credits per reinforcement to help convince people to throw them out more often. Also maybe 1 credit per sample extracted, 2 per rare, 3 per super. Hope they release more than 1 warbond a month, we would be breezing through them. Maybe 4 or 5 would be better. /s

You literally keep any sc/medals you get regardless of mission completion. You can be kicked and you still keep them. The only non-permanent resources are XP, samples, and end-of-mission REC. That's why the current best method of farming anything but xp/samples is to go into trivial, hit every POI, then quit to desktop so you can keep the same map.

I'm not even demanding more SC, I'm just asking for a more reasonable amount to be distributed based on game difficulty instead of literally the best possible method of attaining them being to farm the lowest difficulty given they're the only resource that matters past a certain point of playing.

I don't play Helldivers 2 just to farm super credits. Your motivation of playing the game is all messed up. If you cannot enjoy playing the game for what it is without being stuffed to the brim with super credits, it simply means that you do not enjoy playing the game and you are just grinding super credits to eek out a meagre idea of fun gameplay mechanics. Go play something else my dude.
You already have what you're asking for. You can earn SC, its one of the RNG drops that can show up. If you want to grind then thats 100% your choice. I'm sorry but you don't choose to grind and then blame other people, thats not how it works.

Play the game, explore POI's, earn SC. This is not difficult.

What do you think will happen if they increase SC for higher difficulties? People start farming higher difficulties instead of lower ones and you'll be right back here.

all the people that says play the game and sc will come have farmed lvl 1 missions like mindless drones. I agree, they should put samples and ♥♥♥♥ in lvl 1 like the rest and give some sc for finishing lvl 8, 9 and 10 or secondary objectives.

I play anything between 3 and 8, depending on the mood. I own everything available, and have over 12K SC. No farming, just playing. You are not putting in the time required.

I honestly think they should remove SC and force people to pay. Because all the grinders are ruining the game when they whine and cry about bunkers.

That's a good way to go the destiny 2 route for content.
Pay for a new warbond for content that ends up costing more than the game itself is not a good strategy to keep a playerbase.
The way it is now is fine. I did my time grinding and it's nothing short of a miracle I have all warbonds but not all superstore items. If I wasn't such a cheapskate trying to spend my free time farming, I might have shelved out money for it.
Too many games I've played that want my money for a little extra effort and I inevitably get disappointed when I finally pay in for it.
Im done being hurt that way for my cash.

Destiny 2 dropped damn near more content in a single £10 season than Helldivers did all last year.
