there is a poll on the helldivers discord about the patch
40% (22,381 ppl) im neutral / not sure (my interpretation was dont give an F)
27% (15,191 ppl) love it
33% (18,177 ppl) It's Bad
so ether you ppl need to go vote or its just the minority that are unhappy

im in the neutral group i didnt use the flame thrower or the shotgun so the update never really effected the way i play the game.
it is funny seeing all the hate on steam forums and the poll showing most of the ppl playing really dont care all that much about the changes on discord where the devs actually look at ppls comments and opinions

If they want more accurate polls they'd do it through the game itself.

27% loving it vs 33% taking an issue to it, I'd say that is a pretty big number of people who are unhappy. I dunno why it's funny seeing the hate on the Steam Forums when most don't care, because those who do not care aren't going to say anything. Now you could argue that it's just the vocal minority, but at the same time, 33% are unhappy and only 27% love it? More people dislike than like it.

I'm neutral too only because I do not actually use anything with fire, but I can still see that this is a pretty big chunk of unhappy people.

From the looks of it, there seem to be plenty of people voicing their opinion via Steam Reviews and it has been dragging down the overall score. I'd argue that that's where they should primarily look because they get very quick and very visible feedback there.

No, I'm not reading it wrong. 40% of "I dont care", isnt the same as "I like it". You could prob buff or nerf things whichever way you want and they'd stay neutral. Else, why are there two different options?

Again, 33% is a pretty big chunk. I don't know if it really needs to be 51% or something for you to see it as an issue but it's for sure not a small amount of players. And that's just the Discord Community, only representing a very small part of the total player base. Exaggerate that to the entire community and just look at the raw number of players who disliked that change.
