I can play other games now knowing this one is a dumpster fire.
I believe they are doing the bidding of their largest shareholder.
It benefits them, so they can show that the numbers of psn users increased. Thats literally the whole reason. Some garbage numbers so the shareholders are happy.

I don't buy the 'can't ban' users BS. Plenty of games ban people for cheating without requiring a 3rd party account. Maybe it's for banning people for things that Steam wouldn't allow banning for?
Either way, I just removed the game from my wish list, Thankfully I was waiting until I was caught up a bit more on my backlog before buying it.
What will happen when they run out of people to add to the numbers?
Nobody knows. Maybe they'll try selling to aliens, ghosts, or make AI customers.
