1)Armor sets, 1 armor set is around 500-600 SC
2) Premium Warbond (1000SC) - it is something like BattlePass that allows you to unlock more items.
Even though the currency can be collected while playing the game. You usually collect around 10-20 SC per game (20-40min), unless you farm them intentionally.
A warbond is the wacky term for "This is your equipment and emotes unlock tree" which you feed standard mission rewards into.
While it is true you "never have to pay money" if you get lucky enough with finding mission loot. the most expensive costumes are 600, and if you don't outright buy the steel veteran warbond that is 1k credits.
And each pile you find is only worth +10, while the limited amount you get from warbond unlocks dries up. Also as the difficulty increases while there are more loot spots, RNG can still fill them with mid mission weapon pickups, basic medals or basic non cash shop unlock currency, or ♥♥♥♥ all when it is replaced with rubble.
Sometimes you get 30 credits in a easy difficulty mission with only a few loot spots. Other times you scour an extreme map under fire and find none.
Finally, you can pay for supercredit packs outright ($20 for 2,100 biggest). which is the in app purchase. But it seems trying to buy those is buggy as ♥♥♥♥.
I HAVE ground up for my favorite rotating shop costumes, but yeah. It is both much better than other games (allowed to grind at all, possible solo on baby difficulty if you really want to grind for em), And also worse (It will never be as generous as people tell you it is).
Luckily, one of the big deals they are making out of the system is that none of the stuff they come out with will expire... whenever they come out with new ones, anyways.
God only knows how long the "two costumes rotate every two days" wait will be once they start adding new suits to that. But Supposedly the big stuff like more warbonds will always be for sale instead of limited time.
illiterate
I mean, the knight SMG from the super pack IS literally better than the starter assault rifle, because the assault rifles are all disappointing call of duty trash.
"oh my! unlocked the medium piercing assault rifle that will not bounce off of weakspot radiator vent on sniper towers!"
*4 mags later it isn't even smoking*
"....♥♥♥♥ this I'm calling in a nuke"
The guns inside the warbond you have to grind medals for are the ones that are all to """"trade off"""" cursed to be worth it. But the SMG they just hand you by default? So good it really is pay2win compared to your assault rifle.
Defender SMG in the default unlocks is also real good and basically functions like the assault should. It is more accurate in 3rd person while crouch strafing than the assault rifles are standing still with the scope zoomed in, jesus.
you can also buy premium warbond after you finish regular one. Ofcourse, if you playing only medium - you will do it in 500 years, but high difficulty pays some fat stacks of medals
So pretty much got the 1000 premium cash quite a few hours ago since I have since then been able to gain the required few hundred medals to progress through almost the entire thing already which is included in those 34 hours.
Admittedly a large chunk of that premium cash comes from the normal warbond that gives you like a few 100 premium and 50 premium 'unlocks' in it but the premium warbond also has some of those so I have gained back 200 with another 100 I can 'unlock' in the premium warbond I think?
Basically you pay gain like 500+ premium cash from the free warbond, gain the rest from missions 20-40 each, spend the 1000 premium cash on the premium warbond, gain 300(?) premium cash back from it.
Its really not as bad as you claim it to be.
And that's your choice. Earn them in game or pay for them. I, personally, found them very easy to farm with friends. And I'm not doing it on Level 1 difficulty. I get them when I'm farming for samples at Level 7 or higher. Plus, you get some from every page of the War Metal shop.
