UNLOCK MISSION DIFFICULTY

I’m comically overleveled for easy missions. Just unlock mission difficulty so I don’t have to suffer from this annoying glitch. Game is getting boring for me

You do know you can just press I think q or e to change difficulties?

It's complete a set of missions yes, for easy it's just one, for medium and challenging it's 2, for hard and extreme it's 3 and so on..

But most people don't get that..

My friend cant unlock new difficulties. He is stuck on Extreme

Trust me i have done many missions on easy and it did not unlock the next difficulty

You can’t. There’s a difficulty lock bug that prevent ppl from unlocking new difficulties. Only happens to some, and randomly. Some get locked/bugged on easy, I’m actually stuck on extreme and even that has gotten easy.

There is definitely a bug. I'm level 20 and cant go above MEDIUM even when I hit "E" to go to CHALLENGING. I guess most people don't get that there's a bug in the game.

Well if you play with others you seem to be able to circumvent it at least?

I still do not have the 8-9 unlocked but I joined someone last night and after our mission they selected a helldive difficulty mission and we played that just fine(despite me not having it unlocked).

So yeah, you can probably group up and play with someone that has those unlocked. Perhaps it might even jiggle whatever loose that is stuck if you complete a mission 1 step above what you cant unlock or something?

If you cant choose difficulty 4 and finishing a diff 3 mission does not unlock it, maybe the game already thinks you have unlocked diff 4 so it does nothing... then if you play with someone else and they pick a diff 4 mission and you finish it = unlock diff 5 with enough prayers and praise to SUPER Earth?

Pretty sure you need to complete an entire operation. As in, a series of missions in one operation area. Not just any single mission.

Its bugged currently for some players i can do alot of missions on easy and not get medium difficulty wich sucks

Easy missions are trivial when you have napalm, rover, stalwart out the gills plus upgrades. Would rather do higher difficulty with more risk and rewards. I can solo easy missions near effortlessly at this point

I’m aware. I’ve done many many easy missions in all varieties but no unlock. I can play higher difficulties if host is kind enough to do so.
